Once your order has been received we aim to dispatch within one working day subject to items being in stock. Please note that deliveries to the Highlands and islands including Northern Ireland will require an additional delivery charge. Sometimes, at busy periods, orders may take a little longer or where we are awaiting new stock but should the delivery time be longer than seven days from receipt of order the customer will be contacted by email or telephone.
Please note that courier companies vary in their procedures when it comes to leaving parcels for customers. Unless you have expressly requested for your parcel not to be left in a safe place, they will often leave the parcel for you for your convenience. Very rarely parcels can go missing. When this happens The Spirit Bottle does not accept liability. So please make every effort to be available to receive your goods, especially for larger orders and let us know if you are not happy for your goods to be left.
If you are not in on the day of delivery, it is then your responsibility to contact the courier and arrange collection from a pick up shop or re delivery of the goods. The Spirit Bottle is not responsible for shipping costs when goods are returned as non-delivered to us and refunds will therefore be for goods only.
Our delivery charge is £4.95 per bottle within the UK Mainland via 2nd Class post. First class delivery is £6.95. The only exception to this is if you live in an area of Scotland that the courier companies deem to be ‘remote’. Please see the paragraph below for detail on postcodes. .
For Highlands and Islands (including Channel Islands and more remote areas of mainland Scotland and Cornwall) the delivery charge is £14.95 per bottle which includes Northern Ireland and Eire (Southern Ireland). We use several courier companies in order to obtain the very best delivery charges for our customers and will always quote the most economical method of shipping orders. The Highland postcodes are: FK17-22, G83, IV1-28, IV33-39, KW1-3, KW5-14, PA21-33, PA35-40, PH18-26, PH30-42. Island Postcodes are HS1-9, IM, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27, KA28, KW15-17, PA20, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3.

Sometimes breakages occur during transit. If this should occur please notify our customer services department on 01260 281733 or by our contact form and replacement items will be sent out or a refund given.
The Spirit Bottle cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by usage of glass products or any other items sold on this website.
